With more and more people becoming aware of the dangers of proprietary software, we've decided to ensure that our products are always FOSS, so that you can be sure your data is safe and secure. We're also committed to making sure that our FOSS is of the highest quality, so that you can be sure that you're getting an equal or better experience than proprietary software.
The advantages of FOSS are too great to ignore and speak for themselves.
- Free as in freedom, but also as in free beer in our case. Compare that to the competitors who charge you twice. Once for your cash, then again for your data.
- Secure as in secure. No trackers or backdoors. No data collection. Just good old fashioned software. On top of not spying on you, we'll also do our best to make sure that no one else can spy on you either.

When was MingsUtilities founded?
MingsUtilities was founded in 2021 by a solo developer, Ming. Ming started MingsUtilities with the goal of starting a portfolio for BlitzCream. BlitzCream is a game development studio at heart, but will also provide other pieces of software in the future.

What is the purpose of MingsUtilities?
MingsUtilities is a portfolio for BlitzCream. When the software from MingsUtilities is transferred to BlitzCream, the licences will still be in effect. This means that you will still be able to use the software for free, and that your data will still be secure, thanks to the opensource MUPSL and BCPL licences.

How many people are at MingsUtilities?
MingsUtilities currently has 3 team members. Progress is likely to increase in speed with time as we get more people on board. If you'd like to join the MingsUtilities team, please read the "How can I join the MingsUtilities team?" question.

How can I join the MingsUtilities team?
To join the MingsUtilities team, you must speak to a current member of the team. You can join the Discord server to get the quickest response. Once there, simply DM an admin and they will run you through the process. You will need to be able to show that you have a skill set that could be valuable to the team.

Where does MingsUtilities get its funding?
At the moment, MingsUtilities does not need any funding. All work is done by volunteers, who, in the future, have the opportunity to be compensated for their work, through donations. If you would like to donate, please click here. The question still stands for the future, however, where we will presumably grow in size and reach. When the time comes, we will rely on fundraising and donations to keep the project going. We will never resort to selling your data.
